Summary of Call for Presentations

Research and applications have be conducted to reproduce functions and properties through structures and materials, and to realize a fourth axis (time axis or value axis) that is not a spatial dimension. The Sig-4DFF is pleased to announce the conference 4DFF2024 as follows. We look forward to receiving your application for presentation!

In 2025, presentations will be given at the venue (Kyoto Institute of Technology 60th Anniversary Hall). Oral presentation is available online (Demo/Poster session will be held at the venue only).

Style
4DFF2025 invites presentations in two formats: [Oral Presentation] / [Demo/Poster].
Awards will be presented on the last day of the conference for the best presentations in each style.
  • Oral Presentation
       Oral presentation of research results on 4DFF (20 or 15 minutes including Q&A)※
       ※After reviewing the submitted processing, the Committee will determine the presentation time (15 or 20 minutes) and inform you of it.
       Presentation time is determined by session design, not by the quality of the proceeding.
    Why 4DFF2025 has 15 and 20 minutes for presentations?
       ・How to apply :Submit an abstract of 500 words or less summarizing your presentation.

  • Demo/Poster
       Summary presentation of research results on 4DFF (3 minutes) and exhibition and explanation at the venue*.
       ・How to apply :Submit an abstract of 500 words or less summarizing your presentation.

       *Research products (results) will be exhibited and explained at the venue. There will be no online Demo/Poster presentation.

4DFFFF research group members or individual members of the Imaging Society of Japan
If you are not a member, please become a 4DFF Research Group member before the day of your presentation.(Admission).
Students are eligible for presentation by submitting an application for presentation.
All presenters are required to register..

We will contact you within 5 days of your application to determine whether your presentation will be accepted or not.

Submission

a Proceeding
Submission of a Manuscript [Google Form] (Deadline:August 31 (Sun.) 17:00JST)
If your presentation is accepted, please submit a manuscript (maximum of 4 pages (A4 size)).
Submission of proceedings is via Google Forms. A Google account is required to submit (upload) files.
If you do'nt have a Google account, please send an email to "m.fujiiinkcube.org" directly.
For oral presentations, we will review the submitted manuscripts and determine the presentation time (20/15 minutes), which will be announced in mid-September.
The time of presentation is determined by the convenience of the session design, not by the quality of the content.

Flow from Application to Presentation

1. Application for Presentation (Deadline:July 18 (Fri.) 17:00JST
You will be notified whether your presentation will be accepted or not within 5 days of your application.
If your presentation is accepted, you will be asked to submit a proceeding.
2. Submission of Proceeding (Deadline for Submission:September 21 (Sat.) 17:00JST

Please convert your proceding to PDF and submit it via Google Form.

Google Form is used for proceeding submission, and a Google account is required to submit (upload) files.

3. Determination of Presentation Time [Oral Presenters only] (Mid. of September)
Submitted proceedings will be reviewed and the time of presentation will be announced.
Presentation time is determined by the convenience of the session design, not by the quality of the content.
4. Admission Procedure
Non-students who are not members of SIG-4DFF or the Imaging Society of Japan should join SIG-4DFF before the presentation.

5. Conference Registration (Starts around August)
All presenters must also register for the conference by October 10.
